Helping you find your balance

My name is Karen Eyo…

…I am a stretch practitioner with my company Art Of Stretching located in Crouch End, North London. I am also passionate about health and nutrition and help people on their well-being journey as a Juice Plus+ partner.

Art of Stretching

My passion is making an impact on peoples lives through achieving a health or fitness goal.

When my clients get stretched it gives them time to focus on themselves and away from any impacts stiffness may be having on their day to day lives. Stretching gets you moving, increases blood flow and, during a stretch, the muscle fibres and tendons (which attach the muscles to the bones) elongate…

….plus, on top of all that, it is very relaxing.

Juice Plus+

If you want to feel really well, your body needs a range of valuable nutrients, Juice Plus+ is a healthy supplement that supports a balanced everyday diet and makes sure you are getting the vital nutrition your body needs.

“This is my third year of AOS. I have gradually noticed a great improvement in my flexibility and strength.

Karen has been very patient and attentive in encouraging me to achieve a workout that suits me.

I always feel great after the session and look forward to the next one.

Karen is also very approachable and
and friendly and I am happy to recommend her classes.”

“I have been attending Karen’s stretching sessions on a 1:1 basis for 30minutes per week for  15 weeks at the Healan Centre Crouch End.

The initial reason was due to back and shoulder pains after a broken hip and having ongoing osteoporosis and arthritis.

She has given me a new lease of life, getting rid of a creaking shoulder and becoming more flexible in the hips and whole body.

She uses the Lajin Bench which suits me better than other more formal classes where getting up and down from the floor has been a problem. She also uses a therma gun which massages muscles and joints. She has advised me on exercises with bands and tennis balls (hand therapy) to do at home.

She is a very friendly and encouraging person and I love her sessions!

I can only recommend her strongly to help with tired joints and muscles and stretching them gently.”

“I have been stretching for 2 years and have recently had a hip replacement operation.  I firmly believe that the stretching sessions were instrumental in my immediate recovery by strengthening the muscles in my arms, legs and back prior to the operation enabling me to get moving very quickly.

The Art of Stretching exercises are gentle and many of the exercises recommended by the hospital physiotherapist are what I have already been doing with Karen. I not only think stretching is good physically but also mentally and essential for one’s well being.”

“Stretching sessions with Karen have helped me maintain good flexibility and posture which supports my everyday activities as well as sports.

The benefits are immense. After a session with Karen, I feel leaner and lighter and move more freely. She has also helped alleviate muscle stiffness problems I’ve had and has shown me how to make simple stretches part of my everyday life.

She combines established techniques with her own specialisms so each session is varied and interesting.

Karen treats everyone according to their individual needs. She takes time to listen to any specific issues I’m concerned about. As a result, I feel she truly understands what the best approach will be for each session so we get the most from it.

Through Karen I’ve experienced so many benefits from guided stretching sessions – I’m a convert!”
